FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How Do I Book?

  • Simply reserve your date online by choosing a product. You may refer to "How to Place your Order" tab for more details.

Do You Offer Payment Plans?

  • Yes, payment plans are available through Shopify Pay Installments.

How Long Will They Last Once Preserved?

  • When properly cared for, your preserved flowers can last a lifetime.

  • A care card with detailed instructions will be included with your finished order.

How Do I Send My Flowers?

  • Full instructions, including all postal details, will be emailed to you four weeks before your wedding or event date.

Will the Process Change My Flowers?

  • Yes — some colour and shape changes are completely normal during the drying process.

  • I use high-quality silica sand to help retain the natural form and vibrancy of your flowers, but variations can still occur.

  • Common changes include:

    • Light pink flowers may dry to a soft lilac (especially common with Faith Roses & Love Lace).

    • Dark pink flowers may shift towards purple.

    • Red roses typically dry into a deep burgundy and can appear very dark once in resin — ideally balanced with lighter colours.

    • White flowers often dry to an off-white or cream tone.

  • Some flowers dry more successfully than others. If your bouquet features one flower type or you have any concerns, feel free to message me beforehand.

  • Flowers may dull over time if displayed in constant direct sunlight.

  • Read details in full under "T&Cs"

Can I Change My Order?

  • Yes — you are welcome to change your order any time up until I receive your flowers.

  • Once the drying process has been completed and your invoice has been issued, items cannot be removed from your order.

  • Additional items may be added, depending on flower availability. These will be included in your final invoice.

Will You Use All of My Flowers?

  • In most cases, no.

  • I only dry the flowers required for your selected items, plus a few extras in case of losses during the drying process.

  • I will always discuss approximate quantities with you before your wedding day.

  • If I believe there will be a significant number of leftover flowers, I will contact you to offer alternative shapes or optional add-on items.

  • Any unused flowers will be disposed of.

What Types of Flowers Preserve Best?

  • Flowers such as roses, peonies, carnations, thistles, and most foliage generally preserve well.

  • Very delicate flowers, including tulips, orchids, and some wildflowers, may brown or shrivel more noticeably.

Can You Preserve Flowers From Events Other Than Weddings?

  • Yes — I also preserve flowers from funerals, anniversaries, bridal showers, christenings, or other special occasions.

  • The same booking process applies.

Can You Work With Previously Dried or Artificial Flowers?

  • Yes — you may send flowers that have already been dried at home, as well as artificial blooms.

  • Risks: Previously dried flowers may be brittle, discoloured, or less stable in resin. Artificial flowers may not embed perfectly and may show glue, wire, or structural imperfections. These outcomes are not considered defects.

How Long Do I Have to Send My Flowers After the Event?

  • Full instructions, including recommended timelines for sending flowers, will be emailed one month before your event.

Can I Choose the Layout or Design of My Piece?

  • Each piece is designed with care to highlight the natural beauty of your flowers and create a timeless keepsake.

  • I kindly ask clients to entrust me with the creative process to ensure a harmonious and visually balanced result.

  • Design Consultation Service:

    • Includes 2 initial design concepts and 1 minor revision for £30.

    • Additional mock-ups can be requested at £25 per design.

    • Fees apply due to the extra time and creative work involved.

What If I Can’t Send Enough Flowers?

  • I can work with partial arrangements, substitute with greenery, or adjust your chosen item to suit the flowers available.

Do You Colour-Correct or Touch Up Flowers?

  • No — I do not paint or dye flowers. Preservation is a natural process and slight colour changes are expected.

Will Bubbles Appear in the Resin?

  • There is always a small risk of micro-bubbles, especially in dense pieces.

  • Minimal handmade imperfections, such as bubbles, dust, uneven edges, or small cavities, are normal and are not considered defects.

Are the Pieces Heatproof or Waterproof?

  • For full care guidance, please refer to the Resin Care section of the T&Cs.

Can You Replicate a Previous Design I’ve Seen on Your Page?

  • Each piece is unique — no two designs are identical.

  • While I can create a piece inspired by a design you like, the final result depends on flower availability and condition.

Do You Ship Overseas?

  • Flowers must be sent from within the UK.

  • Completed resin pieces can be shipped abroad once finished.

What Happens If My Flowers Arrive Damaged?

  • Please refer to the Refunds section of the T&Cs for guidance on damaged or unsuitable flowers.
