T&Cs
UK Customers Only
Due to the delicate and perishable nature of fresh flowers, I am only able to accept orders from brides located within the United Kingdom, and all items must be sent from addresses within the UK. If you are planning a wedding abroad, please be aware that it is highly unlikely your flowers will remain suitable for preservation after the return transit to the UK.
By reserving your place, you acknowledge that if your wedding takes place outside of the UK, your payment will be non-refundable. It is your responsibility to ensure you have read and understood these terms before booking.
Resin Characteristics & Care
-
Natural Ambering Over Time:
All resin will gradually develop an amber tint over long periods. I use high-quality, UV-stabilised casting resin to minimise yellowing, but slight ambering is a natural and unavoidable characteristic. -
Aging Gracefully:
As resin matures, any ambering can create a warm, vintage appearance. To help preserve clarity, display your piece away from direct sunlight and heat sources—such as fireplaces or sunny windowsills—as prolonged UV exposure will accelerate colour change. -
Responsibility for UV Exposure:
I cannot accept responsibility for resin pieces that turn yellow or amber once in the client’s possession, as it is impossible to determine the level of UV or heat exposure they may have received. -
Black Background Option:
To help minimise the appearance of ambering, I offer a complimentary black background option. -
Care Instructions Provided:
Every finished order includes a care card with detailed guidance on how to properly look after your resin piece. -
Resin Behaviour & Overheating Risks:
Resin is a two-part chemical that requires precise mixing ratios and controlled temperatures. While rare, resin can occasionally overheat. If this occurs, it may thicken rapidly, smoke, or burn, potentially damaging the flowers if it happens while curing in the mould. -
Experience & Precautions:
I take every professional precaution to prevent overheating and have extensive experience working with resin; however, due to its chemical nature, this issue can still occasionally arise. -
If Overheating Occurs:
In the unlikely event of resin overheating, I will work with you to determine the most appropriate resolution. This may include a partial or full refund, a replacement piece at no additional cost, or a discount on a future order. The remedy offered will depend on the specifics of your order and will be discussed with you directly. -
Behaviour Policy:
Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the small but inherent risks associated with handmade resin work.
Flower Handling, Drying & Colour Changes
-
Client Responsibility for Condition of Flowers:
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that flowers arrive in the best possible condition. Detailed packing instructions will be provided and must be followed carefully for optimal results. I cannot be held responsible for any damage sustained while flowers are in transit with any third-party courier or postal service. -
Selection of Flowers for Preservation:
While I aim to use as many of your flowers as possible, I may not use every bloom provided. Only the best-preserved flowers will be selected for your pieces. Any unused flowers cannot be returned and will be disposed of. -
Bruising & Transit Effects:
Some flowers may show signs of bruising or internal damage that only becomes visible once placed in resin. This can occur at any stage — from florist handling, during your wedding day, or while in transit — and is unfortunately outside of my control. -
Sunlight Exposure:
Flowers preserved in resin may become dull over time if exposed to consistent direct sunlight. Displaying your piece out of strong sunlight will help maintain its vibrancy. -
Flower Quantities & Drying Process:
I will only dry the amount of flowers required for your chosen items, plus a few extras to allow for potential losses during the drying process. If I anticipate that a significant number of flowers will be unused, I will contact you to discuss alternative shapes or optional add-on items. Any remaining flowers after this process will be disposed of.
White Flowers & Expected Changes
-
White flowers undergo significant visual changes during drying, often turning cream, off-white, or yellow.
-
White roses dry best when delivered promptly after the wedding, but may still develop translucent patches once placed in resin due to the heat generated during curing.
-
White Calla Lilies are particularly delicate and typically dry with a shrivelled appearance and a yellow tint.
-
For mixed bouquets, white flowers are often used as background elements to achieve the most balanced composition.
-
Clients ordering all-white bouquets should be aware of the higher likelihood of noticeable colour and texture changes.
Natural Colour Changes During Drying
By placing an order, you acknowledge that flower colour and shape naturally change during the drying and preserving process.
Common changes include:
-
Light pink flowers may shift to lilac tones.
-
Dark pink and blue flowers may dry into shades of purple.
-
Red flowers typically deepen into a rich burgundy.
-
Orange flowers can fade significantly and may dry with a pink hue.
-
White flowers frequently turn cream, off-white, or yellow, and may display translucent spots once encased in resin.
-
All flowers may shrink slightly as a normal consequence of the drying process.
I use high-quality silica sand to preserve shape and vibrancy as effectively as possible, but some flowers dry more successfully than others. If your bouquet consists of a single flower type or you have concerns about how certain blooms may dry, please feel free to contact me for advice.
Handmade Notice
-
Natural Imperfections:
All items are handmade, so small imperfections such as micro-bubbles, dust, uneven edges, or minor cavities may occur. While I strive for minimal imperfections, these are a natural part of the handmade process. -
Layer Lines in Larger Pieces:
Larger or deeper shapes may show layer lines due to being poured in multiple stages. These are unavoidable and do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece — they are simply signatures of handcrafted work. -
Cavities:
Small holes or cavities can form during the curing process.-
I take every precaution to prevent these, but they may still occur.
-
Cavities do not affect the preserved flowers.
-
They typically appear on the sides or back of pieces and are not visible from the front.
-
-
Finish and Shine:
-
The sides of shapes may not be as glossy as the front.
-
All pieces are intended to be displayed facing forward.
-
This is a natural characteristic of resin work and not a defect.
-
-
Acceptance of Handmade Nature:
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
Flower preservation is inherently perfectly imperfect — if you are seeking flawless factory-like results, flower preservation may not be suitable for you.
Turnaround Times
-
Timeframe for Completion:
Flower preservation is a delicate, highly detailed, and time-intensive process that cannot be rushed. Please allow 8–12 months from the date your flowers are received for your final piece to be completed. In some instances, orders may be finished sooner; however, on occasion, they may take slightly longer. -
Quality Over Speed:
I always aim to return your completed piece as soon as possible, but I will never compromise quality for the sake of speed. Setting exact deadlines is challenging, and rushing the creative process can negatively impact the final result. -
Industry Standards:
If you encounter other artists offering significantly shorter turnaround times, please proceed with caution. Extremely fast timelines are often unrealistic, and the industry standard for high-quality preservation is 8–12 months. -
Order Queue Transparency:
You may notice orders being completed where the wedding date was after your own. This can occur for several reasons, including outstanding invoices, mould availability, or workflow efficiency, as I often group similar orders to maximise workspace and resources. -
Commitment to Transparency:
I strive to communicate openly and honestly about my turnaround times so that you know exactly what to expect. While I only have your flowers briefly, my priority is to create a piece of art that you will cherish for a lifetime.
Order Changes & Inclusions
Changes to Your Order
-
Changes to your order cannot be made once the resin process has begun.
-
If you wish to amend your order or add additional products prior to this stage, please contact me as soon as possible.
-
Any changes or additions depend on the number of flowers available, as I only dry the required amount for your order, plus a small number of extras in case of losses during the drying process.
Inclusions (Charms, Photos & Sentimental Items)
-
If you would like to include charms, photographs, jewellery, or other sentimental items in your piece, please specify this clearly on your booking form.
-
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all inclusion items are securely packaged, clearly labelled, and placed inside the same box as your flowers.
-
I cannot be held responsible for missed inclusions if these steps are not followed.
Working With Photos & Sentimental Additions
-
All preservation work is completed entirely by hand. As such, small imperfections may occur and should be accepted as part of the handmade process.
-
When adding photos:
-
Each photo requires lamination.
-
Occasionally, a minute area may fail to laminate perfectly. This cannot be identified until the resin is poured, when a slight shadow or small leakage may appear.
-
This is not considered a defect, is outside of my control, and does not qualify for a refund.
-
I will always do my utmost to minimise the chance of this occurring.
-
-
When adding photo charms:
-
A specialised resin sealant is applied to the charm before the main pour.
-
In rare cases, this sealant may leak, causing small darker areas on the photo.
-
As with laminated photos, minor imperfections are inherent to the handmade process and do not qualify for a refund.
-
-
Material behaviour within resin:
-
Clear or natural diamanté charms and pins may appear less visible due to the clarity of resin.
-
Metal items generally maintain their appearance once set.
-
Ribbons will darken, appearing as though they have been dipped in water.
-
Communication During the Preservation Process
-
Pre-Wedding Information:
One month before your wedding date, you will receive an email containing all essential information, including packing instructions and the address for sending your flowers. -
Updates You Will Receive:
You will receive an update at each of the following key stages:-
Flowers Received
-
Flowers Prepared
-
Order Started
-
Order Complete
-
-
Between Updates:
If you do not hear from me between these stages, it simply means there is no new update to share. During this time, I am focusing on creating orders to the highest standard. -
Minimising Order Chasing:
Please avoid frequent chasing of your order. Excessive communication can slow down progress, as time spent responding to messages reduces the time available to work on your pieces. Your patience allows me to stay fully focused on producing high-quality work.
Payments & Refunds
You can pay in full using your debit card, credit card, or choose to spread the cost with Shop Pay Installments.
Securing Your Time Slot
When placing an order, you will be asked to select a preferred delivery time slot for your flowers to arrive at our studio. A time slot must be selected each time you add a product to your cart.
If you are ordering multiple items, please ensure that the same time slot is selected for all products.
Changing Your Product Selection
If you are undecided about which product or shape you would like, you may change your selection at any time before resin casting has begun.
Product changes are permitted under the following conditions:
-
You may switch to another product of the same value, or
-
Select a higher-priced product and pay the difference.
-
Downgrading to a lower-priced product is not permitted once an order is placed.
Additional Payments
Any additional payments — such as upgrades, add-ons, or balance payments — can be made securely via bank transfer. Payment details will be provided upon request.
Changes or Cancellations
-
Wedding date changes: If your wedding or event date changes, you may reschedule your booking at no additional charge.
-
Event cancellations: If your event is cancelled, a credit note will be issued which can be used towards any online purchase or custom item.
-
Custom orders: No refunds are available for custom designs, bespoke work, or preservation deposits, as these are made to order and involve personalised services.
-
Non-UK orders: Flower preservation services are available to UK customers only. Refunds cannot be issued where a booking has been made in error by a non-UK customer.
Refunds
-
Refunds are not available on custom orders, preservation deposits, or any product where work has already begun.
-
For cancelled events, a credit note will be issued instead of a refund.
-
Refunds cannot be provided once resin casting has started, as the service and materials have already been committed to your order.
Postage Delays & Unsuitable Flowers
-
If postage delays cause your flowers to arrive wilted or unsuitable for preservation, I can refund only 50% of your payment.
-
If flowers are not properly packed or are sent outside the recommended timeframe, and are therefore not suitable for preservation, I can also refund 50% of your payment only.
- If you'd like to proceed with your order, we can discuss other options such as sending replacement flowers.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details directly from Royal Mail so you can monitor your delivery. -
